Chances are that you own a piece of furniture from IKEA (guilty!). While IKEA provides some great timeless pieces; to be frank, they can be a bit boring. This post will provide you with some fun and easy ways to upgrade them and give them a little something extra.
Pretty Pegs offers various furniture legs and like the name states they are pretty! Simply changing out the legs can make a huge impact and its a fast upgrade. They offer some fun colors and styles from classic midcentury modern styles to more whimsical ones.

Uncle Bob's Workshop
Like PrettyPegs, Uncle Bob's workshop offers custom legs for IKEA furniture. These are all handmade and use real wood.
I have some IKEA pieces in which I added some legs from Uncle Bob’s Workshop and everyone thinks I paid a lot for them (I didn’t).
O'verlays
O'verlays has some really cool Lightweight, decorative panels that are offered in various patterns and sizes. They can be painted and are easily attached to furniture, mirrors, and walls.
Superfront
Superfont is a Swedish manufacture that designs front, handles, legs, sides, and tops to fit most of Ikea's cabinets. They also make doors for Pax wardrobes, and kitchen doors and drawer fronts for the Metod and Faktum kitchen models.
They are a little bit pricier because some of the materials they use are: brass, copper, marble, birch, and leather.

Panyl
Panyl is a do-it-yourself furniture wrap. They offer these wraps in multiple colors and woodgrains. The woodgrain textures are really pretty!
I was considering ordering a few of these, but I’m still not 100% committed (I’m scared I will mess it up). Maybe I’ll gather up the courage to give these a try.

Personally, I think these are great not only are they simple, but they are relatively cheap. They can give new life to your old or new pieces. No one has to know that they are from IKEA, keep them guessing.
Which one of these stylish upgrade are you willing to try?
